Articles of Belief
Constitution – Condensed

Section 1 – Scriptures
The Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God. Therefore the Bible is the only complete and final revelation of God to man.

Section 2 – One True God
We believe that God is Spirit, infinite, the God-Head exists in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and these Three are One God.

Section 3 – Person and Work of the Father
God, the Father is enthroned in Heaven. He sent and gave the Son to be our Savior. He sent the Holy Spirit to be our Comforter.

Section 4 – Deity of Christ
We believe in the absolute Deity of the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Section 5 – Person and Work of the Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is a Divine Person, our abiding Comforter and Helper and is equal with the Father and the Son.

Section 6 – Person and Work of Satan
We believe that Satan, through pride and ambition, fell. He is the god of this age, prince of the power of the air, an enemy of God, accuser of the brethren and the author of all false religions.

Section 7 – Divine Creation
We believe that God created the heavens and the earth, including all life, each after its own kind, by a direct act and not by the process of evolution.

Section 8 – Creation and Fall of Man
We believe that man, originally created in the image of God, fell from his high and holy estate by disobedience and totally lost all spiritual life. We believe that this spiritual death, or total corruption of human nature, has been transmitted to the entire race of man, the man Christ Jesus alone excepted.

Section 9 – Salvation
We believe that, owing to this universal depravity and death in sin, no one can enter the Kingdom of God unless born again. We believe that our redemption has been accomplished solely by the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that Christ is received by repentance and faith alone, and that the moment we trust Him as our Savior we pass out of death into everlasting life. We believe that all who take Christ as Savior are born from above and are eternally secure.

Section 10 – Sanctification
We believe that sanctification is the separation and dedication of a person or object to and for God, to belong wholly to Him and to be used for His glory.

• Positional – takes place at conversion
• Progressive – continual process
• Entire – glorified body

Section 11 – Eternal State of Righteous and Wicked
We believe that the souls of those who have trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation do at death immediately pass into His presence, but the souls of unbelievers remain after death in conscious misery.

Section 12 – Israel and the Pre-Millennial Return of Christ and Related Events
We believe that God entered into a personal covenant with the Nation of Israel. It was through this nation that God worked to bring to the world a revelation of Himself, and to provide a Redeemer for the world. We believe in the bodily, personal, and pre-millennial return of Jesus Christ.

Section 13 – Church
We believe that the Church, which is His Body, is composed of all who are united by the Holy Spirit to the risen and ascended Son of God.

Section 14 – Church Ordinances
1. Baptism – We believe that Christian baptism is the believer’s immersion in water into the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
2. The Lord’s Supper – We believe that the Lord’s Supper is an ordinance and not a sacrament that is to be shared in only by those who are consciously in fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ by faith.
