Adult Ministies

Our adult ministries are designed to help people grow deeper in their walk with Jesus and to bridge relationships with one another. Here are several opportunities to become involved with adult ministry.

Sunday Morning Adult Bible Connections; 11am-12pm

Our Adult Bible Connection classes begin again September 14. There are many great classes for you to grow in your faith and bridge into relationships with others from First Baptist. To view the available classes, download this PDF. If you have any questions about our Adult Bible Connections classes, contact Pastor Paul Mann.

Sunday Evening Discipleship Classes; 6pm-7:15pm

Our discipleship classes are designed for more specific teaching that varies depending on season (each elective season lasts for about 10 weeks). Whether it is a Bible study in Romans, Following Hard After God, or another, this is a great way to grow in your faith theologically and practically.

Beginnning September 14, we will be hosting a LAUNCH Class. LAUNCH is designed to help people identify their spiritual gifts and use them to impact our community with the Gospel. Launch will meet in the gym and is open to anyone 7th grade and older. We believe it is vitally important for each member of our church to discover the gifts God has given them so for this season this is the primary class on Sunday nights. For questions about our study and/or schedule, please contact us at 616.772.4377 or Office.

Men's 5on5 Groups

Each month we have mens groups meeting throughout the Holland/Zeeland area to be accoutable to one another and grow together in Christ. Please contact Art Sneller if you are interested in becoming involved with one of these groups.

Women's Bible Studies

Beginning September 15 there will be two women's Bible studies meeting at First Baptist. The first will meet from 9:30am-11:30am in the Parlor. The second will meet on Monday evenings from 7:00pm-9:00pm.

Both classes will be studying 1+2 Thessalonians using Beth Moore's Children of the Day video and study guide content. Join us for a great session filled with encouragement and hope for living the Christian life.
