Wednesday Night Church is Back! - Today marks the official kick-off of our Wednesday Night Ministry at 6:30 PM, and we’d love to have you with us! When you arrive, please head to the Student Ministry Center on the lower level, where our team will guide you to your designated classrooms (ages 2 & 3 go directly to Room #204). If you haven’t registered your child/ren yet, please do so prior to coming to help speed up check-in. Friday, September 18th Office is Closed - If you have an emergency and need a pastor please call 616.741.1399 Funeral Announcement – Our thoughts and prayers are with John and Judy DeJonge and their family on the passing of their daughter, Nancy Bredeweg. Funeral services will be held here at the church, with visitation from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and the service beginning at 4:00 PM. Please note that there will be no luncheon following the service, and the interment will take place on Monday. Please keep the Bredeweg and DeJonge families in your prayers during this time of loss. The fall quarter runs from September 13 to November 22 Young Adult Women’s Bible Study - Looking for authentic community and a deeper connection to God's Word? Join other young adult women every Sunday evening at 5:00 PM in Room #201. This is a casual, welcoming space dedicated to studying Scripture together and growing in community. Grab a friend and we'll see you there! Beach Night: Real Life 9–12 - We will be meeting at 5:30 PM in the church parking lot and then head to the State Park. We will be hanging out at the beach, playing volleyball, having a bonfire and enjoying s’mores. We should arrive back at the church parking lot around 8:30 PM. Monday, September 21st Women’s Bible Study is Starting Today! Join us as we dive into the book of Philippians together! We are offering two weekly time options to fit your schedule: 9:30 AM or 7:00 PM. The cost for materials is $4. Signing up helps us have your materials ready, but if you didn’t sign up, please come anyway. This Week's Message "Ten Words: Do Not Bear False Witness" Jeremy Cobb | Exodus 20.16 In this message from Exodus 20.16, we study the 9th word: "Do not give false testimony against your neighbor." In a world dominated by rumors, online outrage, half-truths, gossip, and public accusations, God call His people to be true witnesses. This command reaches beyond obvious lies and includes deception, exaggeration, malicious reports, unverified claims, and actions that wrongly damage one's reputation. As we look at this Word, we will look to Jesus who is "the way, the truth, and the life." We will also learn how to walk in the light, handle information wisely, and reflect God's heart for truth in all areas of life. Please pray for upcoming events, our leaders, and for God to work in big ways throughout our congregation this season. 🙏 Our Neighbors — May we be a blessing to our community.
