Sunday, August 23rd Worship Service - Join us at 9:30 AM for Sunday service in person or online. Summer Celebration - In the months of July and August we pause Second Hour to have Summer Celebration. This is an unstructured time to gather. Chat with someone new, visit with an old friend, let the kids run off some energy in the gym. Either way, have a snack and enjoy time together. Lake Michigan Beach Baptism - We are gathering at Tunnel Park near the playground at 5:00 PM to witness several people get baptized! If walking through the sand is difficult, feel free to watch from the beach-side entrance of the tunnel, or join us right down by the shore. Bring a beach chair or towel to sit on, and stick around after to swim and hang out with your family! Monday, August 24th Serve Beyond Our Borders - Ready to step out and serve? This Week's Message "Ten Words: Remember the Sabbath" Pastor Jeremy | Exodus 20.8–11 This teaching explores Exodus 20.8-11 and the gift of Shabbat (Sabbath) as more than a rule to follow--it is an invitation to rest, trust, and remember God's faithfulness. In a world ruled by urgency, hustle, and self-provision, Shabbat interrupts our striving and points us back to the sufficiency of Messiah, the goodness of God, an the identity we have in Him. Together we examine the meaning of Shabbat, its purpose int he life of Israel, and how believers today can approach Shabbat with wisdom, liberty, and grace. We consider how rest shapes our sould, renews our dependence on God and helps us offer that to others. Thursday, June 25th Real Life: Music on Main - Hey Real Life crew (7th–12th graders), we are heading back downtown for another awesome summer night out—this time for Zeeland's Music on Main! Drop-off is at 6:00 PM at the church (246 W Main Ave), where youth leaders will supervise the group as everyone walks downtown together to enjoy the live music and hang out. Wear comfortable walking shoes and grab a friend, because after the music, the crew will head back to the church building by 8:30 PM to wrap up the night with a quick devotional and a snack before pick-up at 9:00 PM. Remember to arrive no later 3:45 PM. We will be meeting in the banquet facility prior to the shotgun start! An email will be going out before Saturday for those that have signed up. Sunday, June 21st Happy Father’s Day - Today, we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, and mentors who pour love and wisdom into our lives. Thank you for your leadership and care! We also recognize that today can be heavy. If you are grieving the loss of your dad, navigating a difficult relationship, or longing to be a father, please know you aren’t alone. No matter what earthly relationships look like, God is our ultimate Father. We pray you feel the perfect love of our Heavenly Father this morning. Monday, June 22nd Real Life: Out in the Wild! - Join us at Lawrence Street Park for 7th–12th graders and families. We'll meet each Monday in June from 10 AM–Noon. Tuesday, June 23rd Our Annual Summer Celebration is Coming Up! - In July and August, we won't be having our typical Second Hour. Instead, we are having a "sweet" time of hanging out and enjoying snacks together! We are looking for Community Groups or families to host a Sunday by handing out the snacks and helping tidy up afterward. Summer Playgroup Starts TODAY! - Looking to get the kids out of the house this morning? Join the Life Team at Hoogland Park from 10:30 AM to noon today (June 10)! It’s the perfect spot for kids to burn off energy while moms catch up and connect. Geared for elementary ages and younger, but everyone is welcome. Can’t make it today? Save the dates for July 15 and August 19! You can find all the details HERE Young Adult Women’s Bible Study - Looking for authentic community and a deeper connection to God's Word? Join other young adult women every Wednesday in the summer at 6:30 PM in Room #201. This is a casual, welcoming space dedicated to studying Scripture together and growing in community. Summer Book Club - As a reminder, we'll be discussing My Dear Hemlock by Tilley Dillehay and gathering at Helder Park from 7:00–8:30 PM. This is a relaxed, low-commitment opportunity for fellowship and meaningful conversation throughout the summer.
