  • Did You Know? - In 1631 printers accidentally left out the word "not" in the Seventh Commandment, making it read "Thou shalt commit adultery." The King fined the printers heavily, revoked their printing license and recalled as many copies as possible!

  • Worship Service - Join us at 9:30 AM for Sunday service in person or online. It’s the first Sunday of the month so we will be partaking in communion.
  • Holiday Weekend - Due to the holiday, we will not meet for Second Hour today. Starting next week, September 13, we will kick off our fall classes. You can view the options HERE.

This Week's Message

"Hungering for God"
Jeremy Cobb | Psalm 84

What does it mean to truly long for god? In this message from Psalm 84, we explore the deep blessing found not in perfect circumstances, but in dwelling with God, drawing strength from Him through seasons of weeping, and trusting His goodness above every distraction. As we set the "highways" of our hearts toward Him, God meets us with His presence and turns dry valleys into places of renewed strength.
We are also challenged to consider how a life centered on God shapes the way we love our neighbors. Discover why one day in God's presence is better than thousands elsewhere and how to pursue a deeper hunger for Him in everyday life.

🙏 Our Neighbors — May we be a blessing to our community. For those who are hurting and struggling, may our church be a place where they can come to hear the good news.

Lake Michigan Beach Baptism - We are gathering at Tunnel Park near the playground at 5:00 PM to witness several people get baptized! If walking through the sand is difficult, feel free to watch from the beach-side entrance of the tunnel, or join us right down by the shore. In a world ruled by urgency, hustle, and self-provision, Shabbat interrupts our striving and points us back to the sufficiency of Messiah, the goodness of God, an the identity we have in Him. Together we examine the meaning of Shabbat, its purpose int he life of Israel, and how believers today can approach Shabbat with wisdom, liberty, and grace. We consider how rest shapes our sould, renews our dependence on God and helps us offer that to others. From kids to adults, small groups to special events, here's how you can get connected over the next seven days. Today!!! Backyard Bash - Ladies, unfortunately this event is canceled due to the rain! Young Adult Women’s Bible Study - Looking for authentic community and a deeper connection to God's Word? Join other young adult women every Wednesday in the summer at 6:30 PM in Room #201. This is a casual, welcoming space dedicated to studying Scripture together and growing in community. Grab a friend and we'll see you there! Thursday, June 25th Real Life: Music on Main - Hey Real Life crew (7th–12th graders), we are heading back downtown for another awesome summer night out—this time for Zeeland's Music on Main! Drop-off is at 6:00 PM at the church (246 W Main Ave), where youth leaders will supervise the group as everyone walks downtown together to enjoy the live music and hang out. Wear comfortable walking shoes and grab a friend, because after the music, the crew will head back to the church building by 8:30 PM to wrap up the night with a quick devotional and a snack before pick-up at 9:00 PM. Friday, June 26th Office is Closed - If you have an emergency and need a pastor please call 616.741.1399 Saturday, June 27th Family Camp (August 6th - 9th) - This is one of the most anticipated and fun weekends of the year! Every summer, our church community heads out for a weekend of camping together. Registration goes LIVE tomorrow, so be ready to grab your spot! Sunday, June 28th Worship Service - Join us at 9:30 AM for Sunday service in person or online. Second Hour - Age-specific programming at 11 AM. You can search our class options HERE. This will be our last Sunday of Second Hour until September and we will be starting up our Summer Celebration on the 5th. We are still looking for families or small groups to sign up to hand out snacks. You can sign up HERE. Monday, June 29th Real Life: Out in the Wild! - This is our last time meeting at the park. Join us at Lawrence Street Park for 7th–12th graders. We'll meet each Monday in June from 10 AM–Noon. Bring water bottles & your own snack. This will be a time for playing and connecting. Check out the details HERE. Real Life: Pool Party - Hey 7th–12th graders, we are heading to the Hemmeke's house on Monday, June 29, from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM for an awesome summer pool party! We will provide the lunch and the pool—all you need to bring is your towel and a bathing suit. The specific address will be emailed out to everyone closer to the date, so make sure to click here to sign up today so we know exactly how much food to grab for our afternoon in the sun! Tuesday, June 30th Our Annual Summer Celebration is Coming Up! - In July and August, we won't be having our typical Second Hour. Instead, we are having a "sweet" time of hanging out and enjoying snacks together! We are looking for Community Groups or families to host a Sunday by handing out the snacks and helping tidy up afterward. The church provides all the snacks—we just need your smiling faces to help serve!Sign Up for a Sunday Here! Upcoming Events Click on the links for a direct sign-up! From kids to adults, small groups to special events, here's how you can get connected over the next seven days. Today!!! Day Two of Art Camp - Art Camp is in full swing! We have 75 campers creating and hearing about God’s Truth. Our theme verse for camp is “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth." — John 1:14 (NIV) Young Adult Women’s Bible Study - Looking for authentic community and a deeper connection to God's Word? Thank you to all who stepped in to help and make it a success, we couldn’t do it without you! Remember to arrive no later 3:45 PM. We will be meeting in the banquet facility prior to the shotgun start! An email will be going out before Saturday for those that have signed up. Sunday, June 21st Happy Father’s Day - Today, we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, and mentors who pour love and wisdom into our lives. Thank you for your leadership and care! We also recognize that today can be heavy. If you are grieving the loss of your dad, navigating a difficult relationship, or longing to be a father, please know you aren’t alone. No matter what earthly relationships look like, God is our ultimate Father. We pray you feel the perfect love of our Heavenly Father this morning.
